The new Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales! I've always wanted to do a doodle of the new Ultimate Spider-Man, just because the costume is pretty damn awesome. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to do the red webs on the costumes. With a little bit of experimenting, I managed to figure it out. I also find it tough working with black costumes, because it's so easy to make them turn into a massive silhouette look. So it was a case of trying to find a grey tone that was dark enough to past off as black without hiding all the detail.
I like the Spider-Man movie costume from the 2012 Amazing Spider-Man movie. In fact, I like it so much, it inspired to tweak it even further and create this doodle. Well, half the fun of Comic Book characters is being able to play around with the designs.
Because lets be honest, you can never take your work too seriously, now can you.
